Hi, I’m Cole.

I’ve been making art all my life. i was fortunate to have a childhood where my expression was celebrated and my spirit was encouraged to be free. I love working across many mediums- painting, working with clay, block-printing and creating with paper. collage has become my favorite way to tell stories. i collect special paper from every place i visit, i tear apart my favorite books, and i turn them into bookmarks, cards, and wall art. i am most inspired when creating intentional, personalized projects for others- Taking one’s memories and emotions and turning them into art is one of the most sacred parts of my practice.

i am a mother of two little precious people and i have learned how to harness my creative energy in any moment of stillness i can find. becoming a mom brought me closer to the big and ineffable things about life. i have such reverence for being human and all the vulnerability in being a part of this world. i steep in fie love, i honor great pain, an openness and interest to be with it all. that’s the place i’m creating from. working with all these materials has always been my way of keeping a moment, otherwise fleeting.

all of my work is made by hand, each piece the only one of it’s kind, as i have learned that digital copies take away from their essence, that feeling in my hands that i love so much.

You can find me at the farmers market in bend, oregon- sharing a bit of everything that i do. I feel deeply grateful to make art my life’s work and for the people who resonate with it and walk alongside me as it grows.

i put my heart and soul into my work and i have lost my mind in the process.
